Moore than a statement.

" I love Jefferson County, Alabama. I am a native of this great community. I have a strong work ethic. I demonstrate fairness, honesty and trustworthiness in my everyday life and as an attorney. I comply with the law and have a commitment to equal justice under the law. I treat people with respect and listen to their concerns.

I understand the frustrations and struggles many families face when they are required to interact with the court system.  I am determined to become a judge the people of Jefferson County can rely on to listen to their cases and provide impartial, fair and lawful rulings.

I have the integrity, temperament, diligence and professional competence to be next Jefferson County Probate Court Judge Place 2."

a Little Moore Personal.

In addition to my professional experience, it is important that voters know who I am, and the personal values that I will bring to the bench.

I was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama and graduated from West End High School. My father, the late Willie Earl Johnson, was a coal-miner in the Jim Walter Mines and my mother, Betty Johnson, worked for Bruno’s as a Bakery Manager. My parents instilled in me to put God first and the importance of hard work, being trustworthy, and being respectful to all people. These values have shaped my life and my careers.

I studied civil engineering at Alabama A&M University in Huntsville graduating cum laude in 1990. After graduation I worked for some of the most exciting companies in the state of Alabama. James River Corporation, Pennington, Alabama, BE&K Engineering, Birmingham, Alabama, Butler Manufacturing, Birmingham, Alabama, and the Alabama Department of Transportation, Birmingham, Alabama.

In addition, I graduated with honors from the University of Alabama in Birmingham with a Masters of Business Administration.

My commitment to hard work, integrity and service continues to drive me. I am running because I understand from personal and professional experiences the lasting impact this Court has on families. I understand that this court requires someone who will listen, someone who will have the patience to attend to details, and someone who will be compassionate to help those who are oftentimes dealing with life-altering and emotional issues. I am ready to dedicate my professional experience and personal values to serve the people of Jefferson County as Probate Judge.

I am a proud wife and mother. I am a faithful member of Hopewell Baptist Church, North Birmingham.
